In Front of Their Cameras

They make it so glamorous
to be so comfortable
in front of their cameras.

Shame on us for being so oblivious
to the human nature of the desire to be noticed.
The desire to be somebody, by being nobody.

Nobody seems to care.

mental notes... (read often)

PRACTICE unconditional acceptance of the present moment.  Breathe.

No Adversary

Within Your own mind
You have created for Yourself
my role in Your life as a threat
That, I am not
I'm not what You think
nor what You thought

R.I.P. American Professional Sports

I remember when professional athletes used to just be about playing the game that they love.  Somewhere along the line, they became more about running their mouths.  I imagine that that is a result of the REDICULOUS amount of money that these OVERpriveledged whiners get paid.  Why do we NEED to hear from them after each and every game??  Why does ANYBODY care what they have to say??  How about this: they get an opportunity to speak before the first game of the season and then again, for a half hr, after the final game of the year.  THAT would work for me:)  Why do they get paid SO MUCH??  Duh... it's because the blinded consumers that buy there apparel(I've been guilty) are supporting the ridiculousness.  Professional sports in this country are a thing of the past, IMHO.  Hopefully the NFL never plays again.  They could turn all of the ridiculous stadiums into homeless camps, for all I care.  The NBA, biggest joke of them all, IMHO.  I still don't understand why the State of Washington allows NBA apparel to be sold in their state.  Oh, wait...  it's the money.  Imagine all the money people could save and put to a more REAL use.  Imagine if teachers, who are VERY important to the future of civilization, made even a tenth of what these athletes make.  Then again, maybe I'd be writing about them being the OVERpriveledged whiners. Uhhh... Probably not.  Just Sayin'.

1 A.M.

1 A.M. stands for One American Mind.  It's not who I am, as much as it is what I see.  I am only Me.  I live the way that I believe.  I do have a somewhat unrealistic hope for all of Mankind, as You will find.

This Is Very Real

As goes the tv
Goes this society
Making the mind think
When it just wants peace

People!!!

get away from your t.v's, PLEASE,
and live your life around You.
You don't have to be told
what it is that You need, to do.
It's ALL within You.
It's ALL within Me.

See the weapons before you
as they dull your senses,
gain access into Our minds
to imprison the masses.

Fascinated be Me,
when I look at We.
How We look so dumb
looking down and punching our thumbs.

Do We succumb???
Stand the fuck up!!!
